Some of my favorite things

Food

I love these one-ingredient almond butter packets. I bring these with me when I travel, and pair with a banana for a mini-meal. Love that they don’t add any junky oils like some other brands.

This whole grain emmer farro is delicious with a wonderfully chewy texture. It is hard to find whole grain emmer farro in the supermarket. It’s awesome that it is available on Amazon!

These are so yummy. When I have the craving for a cookie, this is a great substitute that can nip a craving in the bud.

I love these chickpeas. They are such a great snack. I pair them with raisins or goji berries for a fun mix.

You can frequently find a bag of these in my purse. I keep a stash for those times when you need a quick protein-packed snack that doesn’t have a lot of calories, yet fills you up. 10 grams of protein in 100 calories. Beats many protein bars, and you don’t get all the garbage that’s in most bars.

This is a yummy award-winning oil. I often use this in olive oil tastings.

This peanut butter is so tasty! I love to mix a teaspoons of it into my oatmeal with some cut-up fruit. I often cut up a small gala apple to mix with it. Yum!

One thing I love about this antioxidant-rich superfood is that it is higher in protein than most dried fruit. What’s not to love?

Rather than taking collagen supplements, bone broth is a helpful way to consume natural collagen. 9 grams of protein in a cup! This is a helpful way to boost your protein intake. I recommend going organic with bone broth.

This 12-pack case of 8 oz bottles is perfect for busy people or those looking for warm nutritious fluids when they are not feeling well. Only 40 calories in 1 container and 9 grams of protein! I sent a case of these to a family member who got Covid. Fluid and protein are so important when trying to get better.

Montezuma’s 100% cocoa Absolute Black Dark Chocolate was Consumer Lab’s top pick for dark chocolate for its health benefits. It has a high amount of cocoa flavanols which may have heart-health benefits, as well as blood sugar control benefits, and a positive impact on your skin, potentially enhancing skin elasticity and decreasing wrinkles, according to a small study. There is no sugar added to this bar. The ingredients are simple…only one…100% Cocoa solids. I like to break it up and pair it with dates to combine the best of both flavors.

Kitchen

This rice cooker helps with batch cooking so much. I love that the rice never burns, perfect rice every time! Great recipes in the booklet, too!

This has been such a helpful tool for my wellness. I make single serve smoothies in it, nice cream, energy balls, I chop veggies. Love this to pieces!

This scale is so helpful and easy to use, and the price is fantastic!

Fitness

These are the bands I use in my fitness classes. The green ones are very popular. I always bring one with me when I travel.

This is the go-to ball that I use in the fitness classes I lead. I have been using these balls for years. There is so much you can do with them. The added bonus is that I have attended trainings with the founder, Leslie Bender, and she is one of the most talented and smart fitness leaders that I know. Proud to use something that she invented!

This little gem is so handy. It’s great to peddle while you open your mail or work on your computer.

Books

This book is destined to be a classic! It’s one of the best nutrition books I have ever read!

This is an awesome cookbook with inspiring recipes by a registered dietitian!
